85C Bakery Cafe



   85C Bakery Cafe is known for it's delicious cakes, pastries, breads, and coffee.  The cafe first originated in Taiwan and later expanded to the United States, China, and even Australia.  

   Their cakes sizes are: 8" Cakes, 6" Cakes, Full Month, Slice Cake, and Rolls.  The 8" Cakes price range is about $20 - $30.  The 6" Cakes can go from $10 - $15.  The Full Month has a rectangular shape and range from $10 - $20.  The Slice Cake and Rolls are about $2 - $5.




   The cakes are usually stored in the refrigerated cake display case to keep it's freshness.  The breads and pastries are kept in a normal display case under heated lights to keep them warm.  


   When you first walk into the bakery,  you grab a tong and a tray.  Next, you walk through the pastries and pick as much pastries as you want, using the tongs, and then placing it onto the tray.  Once you are done with the pastries, there is a line heading to the cashiers.  When you are at the cashiers you can ask them for the cakes and drinks that you want as well.

   People usually stock up with their favorite pastries so that they can eat them throughout the week.  








   85C Bakery Cafe is open 7 days a week.  Their hours are: 7AM - 10PM on Mondays - Thursdays
                                                                                            7AM - 12AM on Fridays - Saturdays
                                                                                            8AM - 10PM on Sundays.

   Also, beware of their long lines!  Once you have tried their goods, you will know why they have so many customers.  The long wait will be worth it in the end!

Bottega Louie

Bottega Louie is a restaurant, bar, and patisserie (bakery) located in Los Angeles. It is a popular place to dine and to go for a sweet celebration. 

Their patisserie menu is quite classy and delicious. Their dessert menu items include: creme brulee, macaroons, panna cotta, tiramisu, and fine gelato. These of course are not the only sweets Bottaga Louie has to offer, they also offer a selection of dessert wines!

 They are known for their very colorful macaroons, which come in different shades of color. The price range is usually about $8 for four macaroons of your choice. Which is not too bad for such a fancy place.


They create a different range of desserts that very from more traditional to more classic such as their tiramisu, which has a rich expresso taste combined with mascarpone cream that adds just the perfect kick for a great dessert. People come to this restaurant for a nice dessert on the town or just for a great experience at Bottega Louie and their amazing food.






The dessert wines are something new to try! Ranging from $7 a glass to $135 a bottle, they're definitely on the list for new-comers who are curious to see what "dessert wine" is!

Bottega Louise is the place that should be on your next to-do list for Los Angeles, it'll definitely be a treat to yourself and to your friends! So if you're looking for a nice restaurant with food, great champagnes, wines, and desserts, give this place a try!

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream and Yogurt


Handel's is an ice cream and yogurt shop located in Upland, California and they serve their ice cream in a variety of ways which include cake cones, sugar cones, waffle cones, waffle bowls and cups.

The Handel's menu consists of sundaes, scoops, pops, frozen hot chocolate, banana splits, smoothies and ice cream cakes and pies. Some of the best tasting items on the menu are the sundaes. The sundaes come with vanilla ice cream and many toppings such as caramel, marshmallows, pineapple, and peanut butter but they also have a list of specialty sundaes which include Belgium waffle sundae, blondie sundae, hot fudge brownie sundae and the turtle sundae.

The location is convenient since it is located just off the freeway for easy access. Handel's is also not too pricey with most items on the menu priced under $6 and they also have single scoop cones for a dollar on Tuesdays!

Snow Station

Snow Station is the new go-to dessert place in Westminster, CA. They serve mainly shaved snow, which is very similar to shaved ice, only it's soft and fluffy.

There is a wide variety of flavors for the shaved snow depending on what you choose. The flavors include: mango, taro, almond, rose, coconut, red bean, mochaccino, watermelon, green tea, orange creamsicle, passion fruit, honeydew, milk, and lychee. You can also choose whether to have one flavor or two at most. You can even take the shaved snow to-go.

There are also a large selection of toppings for you to pick from to add on top of your shaved snow to give it more pizazz. Each additional topping is an extra 50 cents. There are wet toppings and there are dry toppings. Wet toppings include: fruits, beans, and jelly. Dry toppings include: mochi (rice cake), nuts, and more.


The store is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 12 AM.
